Online Tests & Exams

Our methods of teaching involves using all the techniques available to ensure the knowledge you gain from our courses remains embedded in your memory for when it's needed.

We're very pleased to announce that we have our own on-line Tests and Exams for you to practice testing your knowledge.

Not only that, but our system looks almost identical to that used by the UK CAA Official On-line Testing System that is shortly to be rolled out for PPL Theoretical Knowledge Testing.

We are constantly building up our question bank with relevant material, to enable you to be absolutely sure of your knowledge prior to attempting any official exams.

Prior to presenting yourself at your ATO in order to sit an official exam, you will be required to obtain an "Exam Readiness Certificate". We provide this to you after you have undertaken our own on-line exams for the subject concerned. More information is available from Exam Readiness Certificates.

On-line Tests

You have the opportunity to use our on-line tests to check your knowledge and understanding at various points throughout our courses.

You are directed via our course material to take specific Tests at specific points within the course.

You may, of course, take a test at any time you like. This is achieved from your Control Panel where you can Sit a New Test.

Any Test you sit is created from a bank of questions allocated to that Test. You can, therefore sit the same Test more than once and end up with different questions to answer!

Our Tests comprise of a number of questions to be answered within a specified time. Marking happens at the end of the test. You are given a summary page, and an opportunity to review the test to see where you have gone wrong.

Your Test & Exam History is available from your Control Panel to view at any time which will show you a list of all your on-line test and exam activity. You can also review any historic test that you still currently have a course subject subscription for.

Test & Exam History is also where you can continue with a test that you abandoned. However, please note that the timer for the test continues to run in the background and does not "pause" when you leave the page, logout, or close your browser!

More information on our Test & Exam functionality is available from the User Guide.
