Upset Prevention & Recovery Training

Upset Prevention & Recovery Training

A Commercial Pilots Licence Requirement

From January 2020, all commercial pilots undergoing training must have proof of Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) from an ATO approved for that course.

The flying course also requires a thorough grounding in Undesired Aircraft States (UAS), and UPSET prevention and recovery theory and techniques to the required PART-FCL syllabus.

On completion of this theory course, and on successfully passing the Course Exam contained within this course, the UPRT student can successfully show they have received the necessary theoretical training on this subject.

At the end of this course, you will have a thorough grounding in the relevant aspects of the subject matter that you will use in your everyday flying.
